The most accurate weight measurement is usually obtained in the morning, after you have used the restroom and before you have eaten or drunk anything. Make sure to place the scale on a hard, flat surface for the best results. Shoes and socks must be off, and it’s best to wear minimal clothing. Stand still while the scale takes biometric measurements. If you would like to measure again, wait 2-3 seconds after the screen turns off. Consistency in weighing conditions helps improve accuracy.
To set up the scale for networking, follow these steps:
Go to your dashboard.
Press the hamburger icon (☰) on the top right.
Press on “Device Management.”
Choose the device you want to connect to the network or configure.
Press the ellipses button (⋮) on the top right.
Choose “Configure Network.” Follow the prompts to complete the network setup.

To sync measurement data to the scale, follow these steps:
Go to the main dashboard.
Press “My Profile” on the bottom tool bar.
Select “Device Management.”
Select the desired device.
Scroll to the bottom and press “View Unassigned Measurements.”
Sync all data relevant to you.
If the scale does not recognize which user is measuring, the data will go to unassigned measurements. In this case, you will need to manually assign the measurements to the relevant user.
To turn on or off the heart rate and fat measurement sensors, follow these steps:
Go to the dashboard.
Press the hamburger icon (☰) located on the top right of the dashboard screen.
Select “Device Management.”
Select the desired device.
Press the three-dot ellipses button (⋮) on the top right of the screen.
You are now on the device settings page. Select “Mode Switching” and choose the desired options.
Note: If the “Mode Switching” button is dimmed and you cannot select it, ensure the scale is connected via Bluetooth and/or WiFi first, then repeat these steps. If the issue still persists, engage the scale before starting this process to ensure it has connected by observing that the WiFi or Bluetooth signal is on solid and not flashing.
If the scale displays “Err2” with the body fat sensor on:
Make sure you apply a minimum of 30kg to engage the scale correctly.
Ensure your feet and the scale surface are dry. Dry your feet and try again.
Check that the correct parameters were set when creating your profile. Height should be between 90cm and 220cm, and the minimum age should be 10 years or older. For heights or ages outside this range, contact us at support@miezaan.com.
Ensure your feet are spread correctly on the scale, one foot on each half, as per the quick start guide provided. This ensures correct contact with the electrodes.
In most cases, this is not necessary. However, if you are using an older smartphone, it may have limited Bluetooth capabilities and can only connect to one device at a time. This should not be an issue with newer devices.
Individuals with implanted medical devices like pacemakers should not use this scale, as the biometric electrodes may interfere with their operation.
Pregnant women and children under 10 years old should avoid using the scale, as the measurements may not be accurate or relevant for these groups.
Those with open wounds or infections on their feet should also avoid using the scale to prevent any potential issues.
How the Biometric Electrodes Work:
The scale’s biometric electrodes measure body composition by sending a small, safe electrical current through the body. This current passes through the water, muscle, and fat in the body at different rates.
The electrodes measure the resistance to the current, known as bioelectrical impedance. This data is then used to calculate various metrics such as body fat percentage, muscle mass, and hydration levels.
